The same basic 200-300 HP engine will be sold into all of the above markets.
There are several latent markets that currently do not register sales because there is no powerplant that can provide the necessary performance or requirements. That performance can be provided by the the Dyna-Cam engine. For example, some aircraft could benefit if they could use a higher powered engine, however the particular aircraft can not accommodate the higher weight of the higher powered engines which not only weigh more but require 30%-40% more fuel useage. It is believed that the Dyna-Cam engine may be a successful solution for this type of aircraft because it weighs less and is expected to use less fue than the engines it may be able to replace.
Another example can be found in marine applications where a small, high-powered engine is needed to operate a newly designed out drive for a boat.
Currently, no gasoline engines have adequate power and the company must use heavy, bulky diesel engines. Again, the Dyna-Cam is expected to be a welcome solution.
While no sales levels can ever be guaranteed in any way, management believes that if any engine could substantiate the performance level that they believe can be shown with the Dyna-Cam, the
potential for making sales could be promising.
The chart below shows what 5% - 10% of the various markets represents in sales volume. The management of Dyna-Cam makes no claim that they will be successful reaching these levels, but believe these are attractive goals.
