General Information
The Dyna-Cam Engine is a revolutionary new engine design. Management believes there is a large latent world-wide market that can be targeted which is not currently logging sales because no other engines exist that are able to meet the performance and size requirements of the Dyna-Cam engine.
The engine market is very different from any other product line because of the capital intensive, long term R&D required to make the product ready for market. Most engine projects have required 5 to 10 years of development and over fifty to seventy million dollars of expenditures to launch production. This results in sizable barriers to entry for the competition and windows of opportunity that should last for years before a competitive engine can be readied to target the same markets.
Patent Information
Dyna-Cam has a current patent on the basic design. Attorneys have prepared new patents that have been filed as of September 26, 2000 which are now pending. Management believes that the new patents should be successful in protecting the Dyna-Cam technology. Management is reviewing plans to file the new patents in several countries to expand the protection to a world-wide basis.
