Dyna-Cam Targets Experimental A/C

Dyna-Cam Engine Corporation was incorporated in 1993 as a California Corporation and effective March 31, 2000, Dyna-Cam has reorganized to  become a Nevada Corporation and intends to manufacture, market and sell our unique, cam-drive, free piston design internal combustion engine, which we believe offers a number of significant advantages over conventional engines.  Although originally designed for use in aircraft, we believe the Dyna-Cam Engine has numerous additional potential uses, particularly in marine, industrial, heavy automotive and military applications.  The initial model of the Dyna-Cam Engine (the DC375) is ready for production and we intend to initially target the kitbuilt segment of the experimental aircraft market with this model.

As pointed out on the NASA website:  http://www.lerc.nasa.gov/WWW/pAO/pAIS/fs01grc.htm, "Since the early 1980's, the production of general aviation light aircraft (such as those used by private pilots) has been in a severe downturn." They go on to say, "Unfortunately, economic problems experienced by the industry over the last 20 years have prevented much investment in product improvement and research and development. This is especially true of propulsion systems. Although current general aviation engines are good and have served their purpose well, they require a considerable amount of pilot attention, intrude on passenger comfort with noise and vibration, and are costly to buy, operate and maintain."

"For the United States to maintain leadership in this market and attract new customers, aviation products must be modernized with a focus on safety, low cost, ease of use, and comfort. The challenge of foreign competition has made such an effort imperative."

"Replacing today's outdated light aircraft propulsion systems is perhaps the most important factor in revitalizing the light aircraft market. New engines are crucial to truly new airplane designs.".
